The year’s got off to a good start: for the fifth time running, the TDC in New York has awarded us the »Certificate of Typographic Excellence«.
We received the distinction for our graphic design for »Maskenmacht und Königszeichen« for Pforzheim Jewellery Museum.

Essen: Ruhr Museum opens

09/01/2010: President Horst Köhler joins 100,000 visitors to celebrate the grand opening of the capital of culture Ruhr.2010!
And we are in on the action: the Ruhr Museum was also inaugurated during the celebrations at the Zollverein Coal Mine. We developed the museum graphics as a kind of DNA code for the exhibition designed by hg merz.
The museum is arranged on three floors in the former coal wash plant, with the typography acting as a guide to areas and subjects.

This year we had the pleasure of realigning and completely redesigning the »Victor Mayer« jewellery brand and implementing the new CD. The company magazine »epoche« is also due to be published in the next few days.

»Hofer wanted« is the big winner at the prize ceremonies held by the German Designer Club (DDC) and the red dot award on two consecutive days. Gold from DDC and »Best of the Best« from red dot for the exhibition designed jointly with büromünzing!
»Concrete Art«, »The Triptych in the Modern Age«, »Bernaqua« and »Victor Mayer« also received prizes.
