Düsseldorf: Fresh Widow

A »French window« is a door with a window in it. Duchamp turned this into a play on words, »Fresh Widow«, which Kunstsammlung Nordrhein-Westfalen has turned into an exhibition. That’s where we came into play, seeing this play on words as a play on typography. Our exhibition typography forms the basis for the entire exhibition communication.

Stuttgart: Construct / Deconstruct

The signage system for Stuttgart vocational school centre is based on a simple idea. The destination codes on the stairs are clearly legible, but that changes depending on your distance from the destination: the degree of deconstruction gives you an idea of the distance. Long corridors and perspectives are used to display the school’s graphical identity. The first stage of building is currently under way.

Stuttgart: Visual identity for Galileo primary school in Stuttgart

We have developed the visual identity for the Galileo primary school for Klett – after winning the competition for this project. There’s no classical logo, but instead an open typographical system that features in all media in the form of a visual language.
